Question #1 After watching the movie Catch Me If You Can, it was inevitable to me that the most important line in the movie was “I Am Frank William Abagnale Jr.” Frank Jr. was the main character and so it was important to know who he was throughout the whole movie. Frank Jr. was a young man who idealized his family, but mostly his father. He noticed things about his father and how he handled his business. Frank Sr. wasn’t always honest to his family and had ways in getting things he wanted. Sr. used his cunning ways to get ahead in life but once it caught up to him Jr. wanted to help his father and mother get back to where things was normal to them again. So being Frank William Abagnale Jr. was important to Jr. as it was to upholding the name for his father. Frank Jr. was a young man when he committed his first scam. He was new to a different school after his parents lost their home in the suburbs, and moved into an apartment. Frank Jr. wasn’t treated nicely, a student had bumped him and said he looked like a substitute teacher. wasn’t a villain either. Even though stealing money is a crime. He wasn’t malicious to people or was out to get a certain person or hero. He actually spoke with the FBI Agent, Carl, that was chasing him frequently. Jr. and Carl became friends, so that places Jr. in the category of being an anti-hero. Being an anti-hero is like being flawed in being a hero. Jr. had all the right intentions like a hero would but lacked structure. Jr. lead a path of lies and being mischievous which most hero’s lack. If he had to be labeled as an anti-hero, I think it would be fitting to his life story and character. Who is Frank William Abagnale Jr. you ask? One of the world’s greatest anti-hero that we have ever
