Losing someone that will never be replaced is so hard to even imagine they are not next to you anymore. One horrible day can change everything. Abel told me his parents were on their way home when the drunk driver hit them from the back of their vehicle. Abel lost his parents in a car accident a few months after we became friends; it has been very difficult for him since then. But he never stopped doing what he loved; he worked hard to satisfy his father’s dream. “Growing up with both parents in a medical field has influenced me to become a pharmacist,” said Abel, “My parents are my greatest influences even though they are not with me they will always be with me in the heart.” Abel’s father was a pharmacist and his mother was a nurse. goals. He went through many ups and downs, but that did not stopped him to fall behind. When Abel’s parents were alive they did everything they could to make sure their son got anything he need. After losing his parents things were not going same for Abel. He had a hard time accepted his parent’s death. “Abel’s biological parents worked so hard to make sure he had everything he needed. They raised such an incredible man he is right now.
“My parents have scarified a lot I wish they were with me now.
They would have been so happy to see me graduate in a few months. After a while my parent’s death gave me an opportunity I will never get to explore America, my life may not be the way I planned but it is going the way God planned and I am thankful for everything I have because God has blessed me with good parents and friends.” Abel lived with his aunt for three years, but it was not easy for both Abel and his aunt. She had her own three kids, so the only choice was to find foster parent for Abel. “I am thankful to have parents that care about me as I am their own.” Said

“I learned how the real world works the day my parents passed away. I am very so proud of myself because pharmacy school is not easy it was very competitive and challenging. I never gave myself any excuse not to accomplish my goals. Life is hard as it is and when you are a student it even gets more complicated but if you are commented into what you love you do not want to go back.” I asked, what is one advice you would give for people who are going into pharmacy school? Abel said “in order to succeed you must first believe in yourself and do not afraid to make mistakes.”
