Ability To Work Well When Working Independently

I have the ability to work well when working alone and when working independently. One of my best attributes is that I see mistakes as an opportunity to learn and improve; I also see mistakes as an opportunity to ask for help. I have been able to produce high quality work throughout school in most subjects and know that this will continue into sixth form. I perform well when working alone and when working independently. I am punctual, reliable and organised; often using my planner to keep track of my day to day schedule. I am able to show initiative and perform tasks without being asked. Despite my independence, I am attentive to others and always make sure that I take the opinions of other people into account whether they are negative or positive and use the criticism to build on myself.
I already enjoy studying biology and health and social care in school and having looked at the content of many courses in your school, I am sure they are subjects I will continue to enjoy and excel in. I am enthusiastic about pursuing a career in helping others, I also want to learn more about why people think and act the way that they do. I am intrigued by the way that peoples reactions to situations differ. I think I am suitable for your sixth form because I am hard working, enthusiastic and determined to succeed. Although I have wanted to take part in activities related to the courses I have chosen, to date there has not been any chances available in my current school. I hope that these opportunities will arise during the remainder of year
