Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 20 weeks of pregnancy. Unfortunately, women everywhere are being deprived of this crucial right to have an abortion, yet many cultures are not willing to alter their customary living situations. In addition, there are still 25% of the world's populations lives in countries that hold strict controls over abortions. Legal abortion is a beneficial technology for all women, because it improves women's rights by giving them the right to choose, gives alternative options for fetal deformities, and legal abortions enhance women's health and safety.

In the matter of fact, abortion should not be banned otherwise women will continue to attempt these unsafe abortions causing them more harm.
