The United States of America might be the reason humanity prevails and thrives, or the reason it ceases to exist. In order to make this country, that we call home, great again some major changes need to come into effect. Unfortunately, that won’t be a simple task, but it must be done. The social and economic policies that the United States government is built upon are flawed, and need to be revised.
For example, the Welfare policy is a huge issue due to the easy manipulation of a certain group of recipients. These greedy people include the healthy and capable individuals not searching for jobs, and the ones that choose to waste their money on drugs. Neither side of the argument- pro life or pro choice- is willing to compromise, and are fought for with extreme passion and good reason. New laws must be created in order to keep the peace between us fellow Americans. Laws in which that have truly considered each side of the argument, and satisfy everyone. Now, this is extremely hard to do, and nearly impossible, but it can be done. In order to receive an abortion, you must follow these requirements: In cases of rape, incest, and danger to the mother or child’s health abortion will be given as an option. Specifically, if pregnant between the ages 15-18, multiple tests- payed for by the government- will be issued to the teen and their baby, to insure safety. If it isn’t safe to deliver the child then abortion is considered as an option, but if it is safe then the baby should be delivered. Also, more programs that inform and enlighten abortion should be created. Some people see abortion as the easy way out, however it truly is an emotional process that haunts many people for the rest of their lives. In order to fix america we must fix abortion, and the only way to do that is by establishing certain requirements and , much needed, laws in place. Welfare and Abortion are two of the largest obstacles that stand in the way of America's full potential to be the greatest country. WIthout specific guidelines and requirements set for each of these social and economic issues, the United states will remain broken.
