I stand before you today addressing this selfish, uncharitable and inhumane crime that is claimed to be legal in most of the countries existing on our planet. It’s all a matter of probabilities and possibilities, 50% is the chance. That’s what most children from unwanted pregnancy face. A 50% chance of survival, A 50% chance to be born. What’s the other 50% chance, death by abortion. For years the earth has been split into two by the controversial topic of abortion. There are more than 43 million abortions annually on planet earth. That means 43 million children who will never see the light of the day, 43 million children who will never have the opportunity to run or play, 43 million children who will never have friends or laugh.
To give you an example I will be choosing the United States of America as it is the best country with the most statistics and study provided on this subject. This constitution clearly states, life, liberty and the preserve happiness are available to all citizens. Are unborn children not citizens because they are still inside the womb? Are they not human being like us? The answer to this question is they are inside the womb because it is a better and more protected environment for them to grow. 22 days after conception a babies heart is fully functional and starts beating. And one single heartbeat is indeed a sign of life.
At 4-6 weeks a baby can feel pain and its vocal cords are complete. When the baby is 17 weeks old it can dream while sleeping, 3 weeks after that it can relate to its mothers voice and recognise her favourite music. And from month 5 to 7 the baby learns how to breathe and from month 7 to 9 the baby can relate to its mothers moods and use up to 4 of the 5 of its senses. The question to be asked is if the fetus is not alive then why is the baby growing? In order to grow the subject must be alive.
If the child is not a baby then why in the name of god does it suck its thumb? When abortions first came available to the public many people supported it because they were falsely told that abortions were performed in extreme cases, when either the baby or its mother was in danger medically or due to rape or incest. But the unfortunate truth came out and only 1% of abortions are rape or incest. 6% is when the baby or its mother will be facing severe medical problems. 93% are for pointless personal reasons.
Abortion is wrong for many reasons the major one is the fact that every time an abortion is performed another child, another human, another spirit who could of changed the world or made life on this planet a better place is terminated. Although it is famous that Hitler’s mother once considered an abortion but unfortunately for many people she aborted her abortion, she chose to give life to the human being responsible for WW2, the killing of more than 65 million people, I’ll tell you what that could have been one heck of and abortion.
The only abortion and reasonable people would of supported. The most controversial abortion is the partial birth abortion. This method is where they abort a baby more than 20 weeks old. Imagine, the abortionists guided by ultra sound, grabs the baby’s leg with forceps pulls it into the birth canal until the whole body is delivered except the head. Then the abortionists jam scissors into the baby’s skull and open the scissors widely in order to enlarge the whole. The abortions remove the scissors and suck out the poor child’s brains while the body that has been kicking and twitching goes limp and eventually removed and ditched.
There are other options for abortion such as adoption, but many choose the horrible choice of abortion. Abortion is a very touchy topic for everyone. Take a look at the people next to you. There could be a chance that they wouldn’t be sitting next to you today. Or there also might be a chance that you wouldn’t be sitting next to them. Your mother’s made a decision to keep you and for that you all must be thankful. Let us remember the ones who were not that lucky. And when the time comes my friends and you or you’re wife is pregnant remember to choose the positive 50% not the negative 50%. Remember to choose life not death. Thank you very much.

Abortion is an extremely complex and highly debated public issue that has consumed much of the American social and political arena in the late twentieth century. People on both sides of the debate present strong arguments that establish valid points. Society clearly states that child abuse and the murder of one's child is illegal, but does allow abortion. Regardless of whether it is right or wrong, the fine line that exists between abortion and murder will be discussed and debated for decades to come.…

The debate over whether abortion should be legal and to what point in the pregnancy it should be allowed has polarized many societies. Many religious preach that at the moment of conception, the new life is human and possesses a soul. Therefore, abortion is murder. Other, less extreme views, suggest the life is not human until there is a recognizable "completion of form." A third view proposes we have an obligation to create a good life for all children already born before we bring more unwanted children into the world.…

Imagine a young child at the playground, slipping down a slide, swinging on the monkey bars, and laughing with glee. When a mother decides to get an abortion, that entire image goes away with a blink of an eye. What that mother might not know is her child might be the next person to cure cancer or be the greatest movie star of all time. The public is divided on this issue and they do not know if one should be pro-life or pro-choice. People that believe in pro-choice think the decision should be up to the mother. It is the mother’s body and she should have the right to decide what happens to it. However, every life matters and the child should not be in the cross fire of the mother’s decision. Abortion violates the child’s right to live and…

Most babies are born around the 40th week of pregnancy and it is very rare that a baby is born on its due date. When babies are born they don’t normally understand what is happening or realise they are a separate person, most new-borns aren’t aware who is feeding them, or who comforts them when they cry. New born babies will often cry when they are hungry or when they are tired, many parents think they their child is crying for their attention but this isn’t the case as a new born is not capable of responding to someone with any conscious purpose. These few things would suggest that new born are helpless but when they are born they are able to adapt very quickly.…

According to statistics provided by Guttmacher institute, “there were approximately 1.05 million abortions in the United States in 2012 alone” (Abortion Counters 4). To many, that might be just a number and it does not necessarily mean anything, but lets just take some time to think about how tremendously that number actually is. The image of 1.05 million lifeless, innocent premature babies is horrific, and many do not realize how sick and wrong it is. That number is more than just a statistic but it is the amount of lives that were ended way to early. As someone who stands for pro-life, aborting a baby is not something that should be an option so easily for women. Women nor anybody else should have the authority to end a child’s life prematurely.…

By the time the mother even realizes she is pregnant, her baby contains its own set of DNA. In a matter of a few short weeks, the baby has a heartbeat of its own, along with developing organs. At 25 weeks, the baby has regular brain waves and activity. Therefore, the popular argument that a pregnant woman can take the life of her baby because its, “part of her body,” is ridiculous. The baby is its own separate person with its own rights.…

Abortion has been a heavily debated political, ethical, and moral dispute continuing for more than a decade after it was legalized in the United States in January 22, 1973. This decade long debate between “pro-life” activists and “pro-choice” activists usually stem from ones ethical and moral values of whether it is right to surgically or medicinally terminate a fetus and the extremes, like death of the mother, which could occur from the pregnancy. In this debate, I would view myself as a “pro-choice” activist because I firmly believe that abortion should continue to be legal to decrease the number of unintended mothers, broken or single parent families, and family poverty.…

All my life I thought and believed that there consists of life in the womb before conception. Today, doctors and scientists claim that life starts after the baby comes out of the womb. Science claims that cells are the smallest units of living organisms. When the two units become joined together, a new cell, a living organism, forms. This contradicts the statement that life happens for the baby after the woman conceives.…
