Abortion should be banned. Even if at first the fetus is just a group of cells, it will develop into a person and deserves a chance to succeed in life. True, during the abortion process the ‘baby’ won’t feel it but even if you’re not hurting him/her you are being inhumane. Think about the all the opportunities the baby will never have a chance to attempt. If this isn’t a rape/incest abortion debate then it is your fault that you had sex and didn’t think about the what ifs . Abortion is a form of murder and shows the human life isn’t important. Abortion exposes women to various health risks. Abortion is against doctors' Hippocratic Oath. Not the baby’s fault it was conceived.

The oath plainly states “do not act like God.” Which means by preceding in an abortion, the doctor is destroying one of God’s creations and if God wanted the baby gone he would do it in a less destructive way. Doctors and other health-care workers swear by the Hippocratic Oath before practicing medicine. The classical version of the oath reads "I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Such as if abortion becomes illegal there will most likely be more ‘back alley’ or ‘underground’ abortions likely to happen. Yes, there will be no way to avoid that from happening, but we can atleast fine those people who try to commit crimes of underground abortions. “It's arguably better for society to have babies aborted than have them be brought up poor and neglected, where not only will the child suffer but society when that child develops a higher attraction to crime, welfare, etc.” This states a good point, but in the end you will have never given that child an option to even try for a better future in the long run. “One brief mistake can take away a woman's childhood and trap her for life and it would disrupt her education or whatever she is doing at the time of her life.” You shouldn’t of had sex and this baby wouldn’t of been a problem. Maybe you won’t be able to support your child because you are in college or high school at the time and need to abort to make your life stable first? That shouldn’t be an excuse and couples are waiting to adopt so consider that option first. “Giving up a child for adoption can be just as emotionally damaging as having an abortion.” Exactly, either way you will be damaged but at least for the adoption part you may be able to see your child blossom into a wonderful
