Abortion: Should abortion be considered murder?
Abortion
Should abortion be considered murder? Of course, that should not even be a question. Abortion really angers me, to the point where it makes me want to cry. Just having the thought of killing a baby is horrific! What are my reasons for going against abortion you ask? Well for one, these babies are living things. Two, they have the sense to feel hurt. Three, who else is going to stand up for the poor little ones if their own mother will not. For further explanation, please continue reading.

Fetus is a Latin word that means “little one.” This word used to describe them is nothing different from being called an infant, teenager, or adult. A fetus should not be discriminated against just because it is very small and fragile. It is our responsibility to recognize all the stages of being human. From an embryo to a full grown adult. These creatures that are getting aborted, are alive! They can feel pain, which moves me on to my second reason.

A fetus has the sense to feel, just like we all do; little or big. Getting an abortion is going to hurt the fetus, whether it is in the first trimester or the third. People don't actually know what these poor babies are going through. It is horrible how they get aborted. They can actually feel the pain their own mother chose to put them through. That sounds horrible, but these mothers brought it upon themselves. These babies are scraped off the wall of the uterus, like if they're a piece of trash. Or being injected by poisoned? Having their skulls crushed? Why do they have to go through something like this? Because of the ridiculous choices their so called “mother” has made. So why would someone want to hurt a poor innocent thing? With no one to protect them.

These fetus's are alone with not even their own “mother” to stand up for them. They need protection and safety from monsters like these. We need to be the generation to stop these murders from happening; and we can do it. They have two arms, two legs, a body,

Nearly all abortions take place within the first trimester of the pregnancy. Within that time, the fetus cannot exist outside of the mother’s tummy. It is attached by the umbilical cord, and therefore depends on the mother’s health for survival. If it cannot survive on its own, the fetus is technically not a person yet, and being a living person is very different from the concept of human life…

It is their own body and should be able to decide what happens to it. In the post-Roe era, many pro-choice advocates are trying to defend the law and explain why they approve of this by “talking about women’s rights, sexuality, and abortion.” 2(p10) One reason why a mother-to-be might have an abortion is that they might not be financially stable to have this child. Another reason why they might decide not to have their child is if they know their child would be in a vegetable state for the rest of their life. However, these are not good enough reasons to have an abortion. Even though the mother might not be able to take care of the child after giving birth, there are many other people in the world that could. Many people are willing to adopt and take care of these kids, especially if they cannot have kids of their own. It is not fair to the child to let the mother decide if they get to live or…

Is Abortion really murder. Give about 266 days after conception and see what emerges from the womb. It will be a human baby, not a horse, a fish or an honey badger. When a human egg and sperm unite, the result is a fetus. Within 3 week you can hear a heartbeat. At 4 weeks you are able to pick out facial features, arms and legs. Nerves and brain waves are in place by eight weeks after conception. At 12 weeks breathing of fluid for oxygen. So is this a fetus or a human? That is still up to interpretation. Legal rights have stepped in but, yet they are broken all the time.…

Abortion is murder of an innocent life, and it is completely wrong in every way. There is no justification that could cover the fact that we are murdering our most defenseless human beings, and if anything we should be doing everything to protect them and keep them safe from danger, but yet some are doing the complete opposite. Abortion should never be an option, and one should never feel like abortion is the only choice because it is not the only choice. One must understand that abortion is not just, and people must come to their senses and realize the true outcomes of aborting a…

Abortion is the ending of pregnancy before birth and is morally wrong. An abortion results in the death of an embryo or a fetus. Abortion destroys the lives of helpless, innocent children and illegal in many countries. By aborting these unborn infants, humans are hurting themselves; they are not allowing themselves to meet these new identities and unique personalities. Abortion is very simply wrong. Everyone is raised knowing the difference between right and wrong. Murder is wrong so why isn't abortion? People argue that it is not murder since the fetus being destroyed is living, breathing and moving. Why is it that if an infant is destroyed a month before the birth, there is no problem, but if killed a month after birth, this is inhumane murder?…

One of the most controversial issues today is the topic of abortion. For many years people have been debating over whether abortions should be legal or not. There are two sides to this debate. Those who are pro-choice, do not think that a fetus is a living human being yet with a right to live. They believe it is entirely up to a woman to choose what she does with her own body (Being Pro-Choice). Those people who are pro-life argue otherwise. They believe that abortion is wrong and should be made completely illegal. I am one of them people who are pro-life. Having an abortion is the same as killing another human. It is inhumane, it is a sin,…

The main argument pertaining to abortion is whether or not a fetus is a "person" that is "indistinguishable from the rest of us" and if it deserves rights equal to women's. On this question there is a tremendous spectrum of religious, philosophical, scientific, and medical opinion, but it all really depends on who you ask. It's been argued for centuries. Fortunately, our society has recognized that each woman must be able to make this decision, based on her own conscience. To impose a law defining a fetus as a "person," granting it rights equal to or superior to a woman's, thinking, feeling, conscious human being, is not only arrogant but absurd. It only serves to diminish a woman's value. (Heritage House 76, Inc.)Under the view of pro choice supporters the embryo is not a baby since it can not survive and live outside the uterus since it receives everything needed to survive from the mother's body. In a sense the fetus dies but it was never living to begin with so it can not be considered an act of murder as pro-lifers would argue. More simply consider acorns and trees. (Robinson) Just as an acorn is a fertilized egg of the oak, that does not make it a tree. Sure it has the potential to become an oak tree, but it has not yet grown to that…

Abortion is a very touchy subject with very little middle ground. Every year around one-million developing fetuses are aborted for various reasons, usually financial problems. While technological advancements in medical science have made abortion a simple step to avoid unwanted pregnancies there are still negative repercussions. Abortion, specifically late stage abortion, should not be accepted by our society because the fetus can feel pain at 20 weeks, abortions are thinning the population of minority groups, and the child is never given a chance.…

Having an abortion does not cause harm nor is it killing a person. So, is abortion really murder? When does a person become a person? Will you need a brain a heart and other working body parts? A fetus brain does not work while it is developing nor does its heart. Even we need our hearts to beat to be alive. The fetus does not feel pain while being aborted this is backed by science. The spinal cord and nerves are not developed to feel pain. 89-92% of all abortions happen during the first trimester, prior to the 13th week of pregnancy (CDC). 1.4% occurred after twenty-one weeks' of a pregnancy (CDC). The 1.4 that took place after the 21 week mark was because the fetus was fatal to mother if it was not removed. Embryos and fetuses are not independent beings. They cannot live on their own and are not self-sustaining. Birth days are counted from the day they take their first breath in this earth, not the time that a male and female conceive them. . The majority vote in favor in Roe v. Wade states that "the word 'person,' as used in the Fourteenth Amendment [of the US Constitution], does not include the…

The babies of women who decide to kill are like an innocent person being sentenced to death for a crime they did not commit. Just as humans wish to live , and enjoy their life , sure enough the baby would like to deserve a chance at life.…

From there we as a society have to define the standards of when having an abortion is considered murder. I believe having a baby is completely up to the mother, but the mother is not the only creator of the baby. So what if the father, who really craves a baby, never knows about the baby and she has the abortion. Also we can see how far along the babies are when they are taken out of the womb. By week 8, not even done with the first trimester, the babies eyes have formed and he or she is definitely looking like a human. Abortion should not be legal if you classify the life as human by any means. But if the baby doesn’t have a brain, then is it alive and feeling? But then why do parents mourn losses of miscarriags just weeks after conception? He or she is a human in our eyes that’s why and why would you ever end anyones life and call that humane? Even it does result in a more efficient life for the parents and the lack of one potentilly troubled life in the future. In essence I can see where it is considered inhumane to end pregnancies. I get that to some it is killing babies.. I personally do not beliee i could eer end my baby’s life but i do believe it is a woman’s…

The fetus’s potential of what it will be in the future (Lee 2015). Killing a fetus is killing an adult human being due to the potential of what it could be. According to this logic, killing an adult human being is wrong, therefore, it is wrong to kill a fetus. Killing an innocent person because their existence in the world would make the killer’s life miserable is homicide and can’t be justified (Lee 2015). A proposed way to look at it is, to kill our boss because he makes your life miserable and intolerable and you can’t find another job is not a justified reason to kill your boss(Lee 2015). In this example, your boss is the fetus and just because the fetus will make your life intolerable is not grounds for having an abortion (Lee 2015). To abort a fetus is the loss of that person’s future, specifically, all the value of that future. A fetus can be said to have a future and potential therefore, killing a fetus is wrong. It is just as bad as killing an adult human being which is illegal (Marquis 2014).…

A fetus has a heartbeat, and is developing into a full human. . The legalization of abortion sends a message that human life has little value. It also causes women to have psychological distress. "Young adult women who undergo... abortion may be at increased risk for subsequent depression." (Abortions cause psychological damage. ) Abortion can lead to future problems for the mother. "Induced abortion by vacuum aspiration is associated with an increased risk of first-trimester miscarriage in the subsequent pregnancy." (Epidemiology) An unborn baby at 20 weeks gestation “is fully capable of experiencing pain. … Without question, [abortion] is a dreadfully painful experience for any infant subjected to such a surgical procedure.” (Robert J.
