People will always have a different opinion on abortion because it’s a controversial issue. I truly believe that abortion is immoral and despicable; it is ultimately murder. Therefore, it should be illegal. This is outrageous! There are masses of reasons why it should be against the law. First of all, it should be illegal because it’s ending a life, the child doesn’t have a choice, and women then feel regret afterwards. To begin with, of course it’s ending a life. An abortion stops the growing process, thus ending the future life of a human being. Inside the mother the cells are still dividing and allowing the baby to grow. Over a million surgical abortions have happened since 1973 and numerous women have died. Don’t you think that’s ending a life and wasting a gift from God? A comprehensive study in Finland found that women were four times more likely to die in the year following an abortion than in the year following in birth. Another reason why it should be illegal is because the child doesn’t have a choice. Children can’t and don’t ask to be born; only adults can make that judgment. The baby doesn’t even have a possible way to defend themselves. During the abortion, they are probably just screaming “help” but all they can do is just watch while they’re being killed. “I've noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born.” -Ronald Reagan. The quote is something I agree on because you ask someone whether they go for abortion; obviously they have already been born so they don’t know what it’s like to be the one to be aborted by someone who doesn’t want you. One more reason why it should be illegal is that many woman that has gone through an abortion feel regret. This is a safety hazard; they will go through depression and maybe
