Under the insured’s businessowners policy, State Farm has a duty to defend and indemnify the insured against any “suit” seeking “property damage” to which “this insurance applies.” Accordingly, in order to fall within the coverage provisions of the policy, the following elements must be satisfied: 1) the person seeking coverage must be an insured; 2) the insured must seek a defense against a suit; 3) the suit must allege “bodily injury,” “property damage,” or “personal and advertising injury”; and 4) the insurance must apply. In the liability section of the policy there would appear to be little dispute that Kathryn Norman is an insured.…
This Ted talk intended to inform others about the serious plight of young black boys being raised in America. Clint Smith eloquently described the unfair rules and teachings and restriction sometimes known as “the talk” that is given to black boys of a particular age in an effort to keep them safe. The need for these rules have been brought on by bias, bigotry, racism, and ignorance of other people mostly of other ethnicities and races. “The Talk” may differ from person to person, or house to house but as Clint said in the speech, there were resounding similarities in its content across the board. Even with the seemingly bleak outlook on life that this “talk” may bring he reiterates that parents, teachers and leaders in the community must constantly recite the notion that there is always hope for changes and that we must make our children aware of it.…
In the words of Mitch Albom, “Some parents smudge, others crack, and a few shatter childhoods completely into jagged little pieces beyond repair.” In Arthur Miller’s play Death of a Salesman, he examines the extent to which parents can create conflict in a child’s life. Willy’s affair, misguided upbringing of his children, and delusions create a strained relationship with Biff.…
“Abortion is not a crime in Canada but it is an area of the law” (Duhaime, 2010) that isn’t black and white. It has been completely legal since 1988 and our government should keep it that way. For as much as some people are anti-abortion or ‘pro-life’ they need to understand that women have abortions for a variety of reasons one being that an abortion can actually benefit the unborn child. Those who are anti-choice also claim that abortion is wrong because it violates the rights of the fetus, but what about the rights of the woman? It is a woman’s right to decide what she does with her body and though it is much debated; a fetus by logical argument is not a person and does not hold any rights. Finally, even if abortion was made illegal as it was many decades ago, desperate measure to abort unwanted children would be taken by many expecting women, with dire consequences. It is from these four statements that one can say that abortion should continue to be legal in Canada.…
Abortion is an intentional killing of a foetus in a women womb. The ethic of abortion is an extremely controversial issue. People often claim that it should be banned, in Poland it is. However, from my point of view it should not be so strict.…
Abortions has been legalized since 1973, since then approximately 1,500,000 babies have been aborted a year. The babies of women who decide to kill are like an innocent person being sentenced to death for a crime they did not commit. Just as humans wish to live , and enjoy their life , sure enough the baby would like to deserve a chance at life.…
Did you know that there have been more than 165,000 abortions in the United States this year? The average abortion takes place from 1 to 20 weeks. Abortion is a dangerous offence that affects the mother, father, and fetus. That is why it should be illegal in the United States.…
Abortion has been an ongoing controversial topic of many discussions. Women that go through with abortion tend to take for granted the life that a fetus could have lived. A woman should not have the right to choose abortion and take away an innocent life.…
A dilemma is brewing for the society as a whole today in the name of abortion which has become a controversial issue that faces everyone countrywide. Abortion is defined as the forcible removal of a developing baby from the womb of his or her mother, using surgical, involuntary, or chemical means. Nowadays, abortion has been a very popular and debatable topic because of the moral and ethical issue associated with it. The most momentous moment in the history of abortion in America was the Roe vs. Wade case, which allowed the option of abortions legal to women across the nation. Today struggle still remains on the moral ethics behind it and the question is asked, “Is abortion the murder of an unborn child?” and the other question asked today is, “should abortion be declared illegal?” The debate over abortion in the United States historically holds ground both politically and socially. America is split into two sides; pro - choice and pro – life, both sides have their points that they stand on. To sum it up, either a living human is or isn’t being killed, and case between life or liberty is born. The differences make it hard to settle the two sides. Though it looks like both sides will never compromise they do share some similarities. Both sides to the abortion controversy share a common objective, which is to make abortion safer, and the overall number of abortions should reduce. There is much debate whether this is an action of life or death, and the difference is rather large. Our nation is split over the legal and moral status of abortion. The two sides of abortion, are the "pro-choice” and the "pro-life." In simple terms, a pro-choice individual believes that the choice to abort a pregnancy is to be made only by the woman; the state should not interfere. A pro-life advocate believes from the second of conception, the fetus is alive; and has rights thus abortion is the…

One of the hot topics he talks about is abortion. Trump stance on abortion is pro-life and has been taking precautions to have abortions become illegal in the US. Abortion should stay legal in all 50 states because it will help women avoid mental, physical and economic issues.…
It’s never fair for someone to suffer from another’s lack of responsibility for their own actions. Many circumstances can apply to such a statement, and abortion is not limited to that. Abortion is murder, it violates the civil rights of an unborn child, not only that, it is a violation of God’s plan for others. Some babies die by chance, although none should ever die by choice.…
While some believe that these regulations are completely reasonable and should be made mandatory, others see it quite differently. ● Some arguments for HB2 are that abortions are dangerous and should be done only with the proper help close and on standby, but in today’s time, an abortion is no more dangerous than a colonoscopy, a procedure usually done outside of a hospital or surgical center (“Supreme Court Strikes Down Abortion Restrictions in Texas,” 2016). ● One reason that so many individuals find these restrictions to be unnecessary is that a good portion of abortions are done pharmaceutically, not through any sort of invasive procedure (“Abortion; The World Book Encyclopedia,” 2004). ● The fact that an abortion could realistically be no more than swallowing a pill and being observed for adverse reactions, makes enforcing such strict laws on these clinics absolute overkill (“Abortion; The World Book Encyclopedia,” 2004).…
Abortion, it’s not a choice that any woman would ever want to have to make, but it’s a decision that she should have the right to make. If it comes down to the possibility of her and her baby losing their lives, she should be able to stop this possibly fatal pregnancy. The body is hers, the baby is hers, and the choice should be hers. If you disagree, make the choice for your own body. Abortion should be legal.…
Abortion remains one of the most contested issues as far as social and moral obligations are concerned. It has been a controversial topic for a long time. In the United States, abortion has been made legal and even after the Supreme Court legalized abortion in the 1973, the controversy still continues. Unfortunately, abortion is a liberty and right that some wish to eradicate. Some consider abortions immoral. They believe in misconceptions that are based off of skewed facts. They also believe it is a problem that must be stopped. Making abortions illegal will not sojourn anything. Abortions are a right. When a woman needs an abortion, she will do whatever it takes to have one. And it is sometimes the only option…
