Abortion Should Stay Legal
On December 30th, 1994, a deranged terrorist from the Boston area, opened fire inside of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Brookline, Massachusetts. He killed two healthcare workers and critically injured five other people's. His reason; the clinic provided abortion. The government needs to keep abortion safe and legal, and in so doing, it needs to treat anti-abortion terrorists with the same seriousness it applies to Muslim terrorists. Abortion should stay legal and protected by the government as it is a right and choice to every pregnant women, the government can’t afford poor mothers taking care of children they simply cannot afford, and religious beliefs should remain irrelevant to constitution.

For example, in the trial Roe vs. Wade, it was a proven fact religious beliefs are considered irrelevant to the constitution, since the court sided with Roe, “We acknowledge our awareness of the sensitive and emotional nature of the abortion controversy, of the vigorous opposing views, even among physicians, and of the deep and seemingly absolute convictions that the subject inspires”(Roe vs. Wade). Think about how unfair it would be for a hardworking, poor, tired, single woman(who was NOT trying to get pregnant at the moment)be told she cannot have an abortion. This would lead to her having to eventually cut back on her work hours, at work, and maybe even quit her job since she needs to take care of this baby, that she didn’t even want! “Unwanted or unplanned abortions is one of the worst experiences that can happen to a woman” according to Planned Parenthood(Considering Abortion).     The supporters of pro-life base their argument that the fetus is a human; therefore, not only is abortion killing a human wrong, but it is also illegal.
