Abortion: The Two Sides of a Controversial Issue.

The word abortion means the "Also called voluntary abortion. The removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy." (Dictionary). Abortion is a major issue in the world today. People in many countries are having abortion each year even if it is going against their religion. There are many arguments for and against abortion. It is a really polemic topic to write and talk about and it causes controversies wherever is being discussed. Today, the country is basically divided by two groups the Pro-life and Pro-choice. The first group claims that they are fighting to save a life that can not protect itself. It also says that the abortion is a sin and the women who submit themselves to such aggressive procedure are sinners. The other part states that they respect the choice of the women. The right of having an abortion is absolutely their choice. This will be a never end discussion, because neither part will never give up in this war. People that are pro abortion area called Pro-choice groups. They consider that it the right of the any woman to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes to do so. These groups believe that the abortion should be made legal and be offered to all women. "A woman should have the right to end her pregnancy if she wishes" (pro-choice), this is based that a woman has absolute right over her body. Abortion should be legal to stop unsafe abortion practices. This is one of the strongest arguments from the Pro-choice group. In these days, women can get an abortion anywhere they want to. These unsafe practices are very dangerous and could maybe even lead to death of the mother or the child. For these reasons the Pro-choice groups supports that the abortion should be legal. At severe situations, the abortion maybe required, for example if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, it would be extremely difficult for nay
