There is a developed country in North America -- Canada. It is known as “land of maples”. Moreover, maples and maple leaf have become the symbol of the nation. Ottawa is the capital city of Canada, however, the biggest city is Toronto.
Canada located in the northern part of the continent, including ten provinces and three territories. It is the second-largest country of total area and the fourth-largest country of land area in the world. Additionally, its border with the USA is the longest land border in the world, stretching eight thousand eight hundred and ninety-one kilometers. There are plenty of lakes and rivers in Canada. It has difference eight forest regions and around thirty-one thousand seven hundred large lakes, and one of them is the largest freshwater lake in the world -- Lake Superior. So there is abundant freshwater resources in Canada.
Beaver is the state animal of Canada. It’s length one hundred and thirty-five centimeters and it is Medium-sized amphibious animals. Dams would be built where they are safe from predators. Their houses are made up of muds and branches in the lakes.
Ice hockey is developed in Canada; thus, it has the biggest hockey player of all the world. The ice hockey team of Canada not only won the gold medal of Olympic in 2006 but also won victory at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Canada National Tower (in short “CN Tower”) is a television tower in Toronto. It is up to five hundred and fifty-three point thirty-three meters. Until 2007 it was the tallest building in the world. Moreover, CN Tower is the landmark of Toronto. Many tourists are attracted and go to visit it every year.
University of British Columbia (in short “UBC”) is the oldest university in Columbia. It always stay in the top three of university in Canada. The main campus located in Vancouver is regarded as one of the most beautiful campus in the world. It is situated on the bank of the sea, with coasts on three sides. There are beautiful cherry flowers and beach in the campus.
