Strategic Management project details for year 2013
Course Objective
The course aims to orient the learner to understand the importance of strategies and the various stages of strategy formulation, implementation and Control. The course explains the importance of environment in which the strategies are formulated and the impact of environment on formulation and implementation. The course facilitates the learner to choose from the carious strategies. The course encourages the learner to debate on issue like does strategy follow structure or does structure follow strategies, it explain the impact of one on the other. The course introduces learners with portfolio matrix like BCG, GE and other models like Mc Kinsey 7 S model of strategy and Robert Kaplans Balanced Score card.
Project Guidelines 1) All project are individual projects no TEAM EFFORT for the first time 2) All project will be typed with 1.5 line spacing 3) Font Times New Roman 4) Heading Bold Size 14 5) Body Size 12 6) All topics should be referenced from text book, Journal and Online resources. 7) Bibliography to be prepared as per APA (American Psychology Format) please read on what is APA format 8) Plagiarism will be penalized and will affect grades 9) All interviews to be video recorded and accompanied by a letter on the letter head of the company with the visiting card of the person interviewed 10) In case of any query the professor would prefer to be contacted by email (no calls please) 11) Expected Pages - 35-40 pages, More are welcome
