However, a student should not be punished harshly for not maintaining the educational morality of a classroom if the student is never properly educate over the matter. Because I have been properly educated on the matter at hand, I am now able to avoid plagiarism with not trouble. Even though the dual credit courses I am participating in have greatly expanded my knowledge on academic integrity and how to cite my sources, I did possess a fair amount of comprehension about educational ethics from previous training during my freshman year in high school. I was lucky enough to have an excellent educator at my side to ensure that I gained the understanding over academic integrity that I would need as I approached my college years. Therefore, because I had an outstanding educator to teach me how to avoid plagiarism, I can say that I did receive proper training on the matter before I began to participate in dual credit
