Academic success

Academic Success As a first year student at Bunker Hill, I am facing a couple challenges. I registered late so I don’t have the classes that I want at ideal days or times. I have classes Monday thru Friday. Then I got a job that requires me to come in two days a week, so I come in on Tuesday and Thursday. This is effecting my time management and study skills because they haven’t been improving they have been getting worse. Working on my time management, making a schedule, and working on my study habits are some of things I need to in order for it to get better My time management and study skill have been getting worse. I have English on Monday and Wednesday. My teacher has been assigning lengthy homework assignments. On top of that the teacher for my sociology class, which I attend on Tuesday and Thursday, has also been assigning homework that requires research. On Friday I picked a class that ends the latest. These assignments aren’t just something you can do in half an hour. Right after my sociology class, I go to my job. I don’t get home until 8:00pm so I’m pretty exhausted. I’m also assigned reflections that I have to do for the week. If I want to do well, I have to buckle down and use good time management skills. In order to fulfill each task I should make a schedule that would show me all my free time I have and fill it up by doing homework. Making a schedule is what I need to do to make sure I do my best. Monday and Wednesday I'm free after 12:45 so when I get home the best thing for me to do is to get started. That way my English homework gets completed. Then on Tuesday and Thursday I'm free from 9:45 to 2:00. If I complete it right in between that time frame, I won't have to worry about it when I get home from work. Then, I can work on my homework throughout the weekends. The next thing I need to focus on is my study habits.
