According to Rebecca Ayrey in “Abortion Distortion,” at nineteen weeks of her first sonogram her baby was diagnosed with Dandy-Walker Syndrome. Also, two parts of her brain were missing completely, other areas were malformed, and there was a heart defect, as well as acute limb irregularities. The baby would have only lived a short period of time. Parents gathered information for the abortion. The abortion took place when the mother was at an advanced state of pregnancy.
