Objectivos do manual
O propósito deste documento é disponibilizar à Função Auditoria Interna dos Hospitais
(e/ou outras Unidades de Saúde com as devidas adaptações) um guia sobre:


Os princípios da Função Auditoria Interna;



O seu posicionamento no seio da Organização;



A gestão da Função Auditoria Interna; e



A gestão das acções (projectos) de Auditoria Interna.

Estrutura do manual
Este manual divide-se em três volumes:
Parte I – Princípios, conceitos e standards de desempenho da Função Auditoria
Interna
Parte II – Metodologias e técnicas de trabalho de auditoria e exemplos de documentos
Parte III – Questionários de controlo interno e programas de trabalho standard

Responsabilidades de manutenção e aprovação do manual
Compete ao responsável pelo Departamento de Auditoria da ACSS proceder à sua manutenção e actualização, e obter a respectiva aprovação do Conselho Directivo da
ACSS.
É da responsabilidade do Conselho de Administração do Hospital, sob proposta da
ACSS, proceder à sua aprovação e implementação.
