Although you may be working from a tentative career choice, use that career choice or for those of you who have made a career decision use that career decision to develop an action plan. You can always change your mind, if you need to, and use this same process for a different career path. The purpose of this section is mapping out a plan of action. Having a plan of action leads to the greatest likelihood of helping you move from the reality of the present to the ideas for your future. What do you need to do to reach your career goal? You will need to be specific in your responses. (i.e. can’t say you want to get a job in your field – instead what kind of job? At what organization? What do you still need to clarify about yourself before finalizing a career decision?
Do you need to expand your interests to find a career? If so, what will you try and how will you go about doing this?

What steps will you take to obtain these experiences? When will you take these steps? (must include at least 3 experiences and outline the steps.)
How are you going to meet people already working in the field? (outline 2 ways you will do this)
