Readiness is an important tool for a company in terms of having a firm action plan for adaptiveness, resilience and environmental scanning. All this is made possible by possessing strong leadership skills. In the Environmental scanning process the company is able to collect data about itself, the external world and its competitors. Through this the company gets a systematic survey which enables it to interpret relevant information so as to identify external threats and opportunities.
