“What is a Research?”
"Research is a process of steps used to collect and analyze information to increase our understanding of a topic or issue".
It is the systematic process of collecting and analyzing information to increase our understanding of the phenomenon under study. It is the function of the researcher to contribute to the understanding of the phenomenon and to communicate that understanding to others.
The word ”research” connotes the finding of an item of information or the making of notes and the writing of a documented paper. On the other hand, it is used for the act of informing oneself about what one does not know or going through available sources to retrieve required information.

The role of research is to provide a method for obtaining those answers by inquiringly studying the evidence within the parameters of the scientific method.
