Acute Chest Pain Case Studies
Her patient has been experiencing acute chest pain for 2 days along with dyspnea. The patient has no allergies, no previous surgeries, and isn’t on any medication. Last food intake was this morning. Past medical history, age of the patient, and events leading up to the acute chest pain wasn’t included. The OPQRST wasn’t used to follow up on the chief complaint. The patient’s temperature was 99.2 F but it didn’t state which area of the body was measured. The normal/average adult body temperature ranges from 99.7-99.5 degrees F. The average body temperature for children 3 months-3 years is 99-99.7 degrees F. For children 5-13 years it ranges from 97.8-98.6 degrees F.
