I believe that writing analysis essays is one of my strong suits. However, one aspect of writing analysis essays that I usually have trouble with is creating a well-developed thesis.
I believe one of the strengths of this essay was that I included certain rhetorical devices in the ad that might not have been that obvious. I also think this essay was much more cohesive than my previous one and flowed well from one paragraph to the next. One of my weaknesses is that I can tend to be repetitive with my vocabulary, which might negatively affect my persuasiveness. A simple solution, however, was just to use the thesaurus. For the most part, this essay wasn’t extremely hard to write, except for maybe finding a title that was appealing and made sense.

Audio that Astounds
Bose uses a simple yet effective image to illustrate the immersive experience of their noise cancelling headphones. This ad was created in 2006 and was mainly directed towards young adults who appreciate good audio but also have the money to purchase a pair of $350 headphones.
The first thing that draws the eye is the stunning scene of Niagara Falls, a magnificent crescent-shaped waterfall that is front and center. It is perfectly complemented by the bright blue sky, which highlights the elegance of the waterfall and the clear water. The color scheme in this picture is used to portray how clean and pure the sound quality of the headphones are. When viewing this advertisement, one can practically hear the soothing sound of the waterfall’s gentle roar. The purpose of using this location is most likely to represent the feeling of tranquility when one plays music out of Bose headphones.
