Adam was enjoying the college life, football, school, and parties. It got to where it was football and school a little less and partying a little more. Then he wasn’t doing anything in football or school anymore and he ended up quitting. Adam got married to a girl name Kelly. They were in love. Adam and his wife were living the life, until one day it happened.
Adam meet an old college buddy and they went did drugs Adam said it was his last time, well that led to another time. It got so bad that he started leaving his house and staying at crack houses. Kelly and Adam's parents started going through the houses and looking for him. He was a crackhead. He and Kelly were going into a bad stage. Adam and his dad had a come to jesus meeting, but Adam didn’t listen. Kelly Then had a meeting with him and he decided to actually listen. He told Kelly he needed to fix his life, he prayed to god everyday for god to send him a sign then bam, it all happened.
He decided he was going to join the Navy Seals.After cleaning up his act, he convinced the Navy to waive his shaky record and joined the sea, air and land special operations force.In battle, he lost vision in his right eye. His right hand got crushed, so he learned to shoot with his left.By 33, he had arthritis, a bad back, a broken leg and surgery on both ankles to offset years of pounding. Adam took a beating in the Navy but it paid off big for him."The training awakened in Adam the psycho who never quit." That was Adam's nickname.
Adam and Kelly had their first child, Nathan, in 2000. Soon a reorganization shifted him to Team Two's Central and South American task unit, requiring six more months of training. He hated being away from his family but he had to do his job. His commander recognized him as "always the first to volunteer for the hard jobs and the last to leave — he leads, mentors and sets the example, the definition of a team player." He rose to petty officer first class. He was a stud.
