The government has failed, infrastructures established to address these issues have failed and most importantly we as a society have failed. I agree that the president should prioritize ending homelessness and reinvest affordable housing. I think that the current Bill of Rights should be Amendment to include special protections for all vulnerable population, not just the homeless. In regards to the creation of policies that prevent mass evictions and regulate rents this should be a joint effort at the federal, state and local levels of government. I also agree that building strong coalitions and attacking this issue at the grassroots level will force more people to face the problem be socially accountable. I do disagree that only way to end homelessness is having a home. Homelessness is not homogenous, there is an array of circumstance that lead to this problem so address the physical issue of not having home this alone will not be suffice we have to also address the underlying societal and personal
