    Many people seem to forget that the purpose of schooling is to “educate students so that they have choices when they graduate” (Bilingual Education Is Necessary). By allowing students the option to learn another language, they are broadening the students choices for their future occupations. Furthermore by adding language classes, the school will also benefit from the enriched staff resources.     Every student is different and has diverse qualities about them. Language can be a huge barrier in the classroom. It is important for teachers to acknowledge all of the diversities in their classroom and create individual teaching plans for each student, especially when students speak different languages. Teachers must respect all students as individuals because each student can bring their own knowledge into the classroom.
