Adele Figurative Language Analysis
The imagery and the figurative language reflects the idea that love is never a forgiveness and she describes her love with objects and songs of how they remind her of him throughout the song. She also Adele uses similies for example, "cause you feel like home" as a way of describing how her love feels like home. She also uses similies by saying, "you look like a movies, you sound like a song". Adele is describing her love that everywhere she goes everything reminds her of him.
Adele uses imagery that appelas to sight by saying, "To the way you move, you are like a dream come true, you are like a dream come true". Adele helps you visualize how she sees him. She also uses discription very well by saying, "Let me photograph you in this light".
She describes the setting of the song and how she wants it to be visualized. Through these examples of imagery and figurative language the reader is able to understand why Adele is writing about her love.
