Adley Monologue
“Hey Bailey! How’s it going? I called Adley, he’s on his way.” “Who’s Adley?”

A man in teal scrubs and a face mask walked in behind him came two boys. One was very tall and his wild fiery red hair nearly didn’t fit into the doorframe. The other boy was blonde and had the bluest eyes I have ever seen. When walking in he ran into the door frame and everyone burst out laughing.
The first man that walked in walked up to the computer and started writing things down. All of sudden almost in a flash I remembered the pretty girl’s name, Laynee. I knew it meant something to me but I couldn’t remember what. As Laynee was talking to this man she

I just want you both to know you are my two closest friends, I won’t tell anyone until you feel the time is right, however I think it is best you get this into the open, because secrets always have a way of coming out. I support you one hundred percent and will make sure everybody else does as well. If there's anything you ever need let me know” with that she turned on her heel and walked back into the building.
I turned my head to Laynee and in a hushed voice, “Let’s go back into the building and tell everybody, they may not be supportive but I think we should anyways. If there's one thing I learned about this accident, it’s that you only live once. Also, I know it’s been a rough few weeks but I think it may help us to go to Washington, D.C. I mean you did say that’s where we met right? I don’t know how long we’ll last but I know I want you in my life forever. Will you, Laynee Elkington do me the honor of becoming my wife?” “Yes! Yes! Yes! I can’t express to you how happy I am for this, I promise to love you for the rest of my life with my entire heart

In the small, peaceful village of Rhinebeck, where tourists and travelers from all over the country venture through, a wooden cottage stood just off of Main Street. Within the cottage lay a middle aged man by the name of John Edelman. His short, scruffy beard had begun to remodel itself into a plain of grey, and his once youthful olive skin had turned pale with creases around his eyes and mouth. Most villagers, if asked about John, would have nothing but positive remarks. Kind, quiet, and caring, he often engaged in projects to improve the community, and had come to the aid of many friends.…

As I began my journey to the vast history of Indigenous people flicking page after page and over what felt like a lifetime I was persuaded to embed the words exchanged between William and the Gadigal tribe particularly with a young girl named patyegarang within the novel. And also to construct the scenarios, the events in which they take place. To create a story line that was able to connect all of these was a tremendously difficult hour and hours rifling through these pages learning more about the native s of this land it was truly remarkable. In my early stages of writing I came across an obstacle I wondered what the protagonist’s character will be like.…

“Charlie, Charlie! We need you over here now, hurry up!” Yelled Madison. “Oh crap sorry, I’m coming.” I replied. I didn’t want to get up but I needed to help him, I needed to prove myself. He lay upon the stretcher still as a calm night, so peaceful yet so loud. I look at him and pray that he fights this and that he will be ok because for some reason I feel guilt, a huge pile of guilt on my shoulders. I stood back just because of a comment that I should be used to by now. His pain is all on me. I should have helped him sooner and maybe his chances at living would be higher, if…
