Most high school girls would rather be going out with their friends but not me. I am not the typical high school girl; I rather spend my days at Crockett Technical High School planning schools events, getting ready for basketball games and football (since I could not play). I am deeply involved with Crockett Athletics, including setting up for pep rallies and step shows, selling refreshments during school and even the games. In order for me to continue to work with the Athletic Director, I have to maintain a 3.0 grade point average, but I exceeded that expectation -- I have a 3.5 grade point average. Most students cannot wait get out of school, but me I am willing to be there until 9pm if I have to. The family atmosphere that Crockett Athletics shows is the reason I am proud to be a part of the Rocket Nation. The love and dedication that: the football, basketball, volleyball, softball, and track players show to each other as brothers and sisters rather than just teammate is incredible to see. By the way, I love playing softball during the spring season.
In addition to my athletic and extracurricular interests, I have achievements in academics. As I stated before I have an overall grade point average of a 3.5 that I have maintain since ninth grade. Since maintaining my grade point average, I am going be inducted into the National Honor Society this May.
To have the opportunity to do all the things I have listed so far takes experiences in leadership. Being able to show and prove I am capable of being a leader to others and myself. I have been in plenty of leadership roles and currently in some as we speak. For instance, I was Vice President of Student Council my sophomore year of high school. Being the vice president I had duties to for fill such as, making sure that student council did every requirement that council board assign. A few of the thing I had to do was make sure that we did Toys for Tots, Adopt a Family and a food drive. All the activities, that student council and me done was evolvement in our community, which us become a leader to children and even adults. I became the Office Manager of the Athletic Department my sophomore year as well and currently still is.
With my well-rounded leadership skills and evolvement with Crockett Athletics, I have decided to pursue a studied in education and business administration. These studies can help me get to my first career goal, which is being an Athletic Director. I hope that one day I will be the Athletic Director for University of Michigan.
At this very moment there are people wishing, that one day they be living the American Dream. Well I am not wishing for the American Dream of success. I am wanting a dream

As I stare at the water and breathe deeply as the official calmly says, "Take your mark” followed by the loud sound of a starting horn. Diving into the cold water, I recall all of my physical and mental training for this specific swimming race. I perfected my technique, built endurance, and visualized every detail of the race. Over the years, seemingly endless hours of work and attention to detail, made swimming, more than just a sport, it was my art. At first exposure to urology, I was certain that I found a career perfectly suited to my personality and aspirations. It is a challenging field that requires a high level of dedication, meticulous attention to detail, and self-reflection; qualities which swimming has strongly engrained in me over the years.
