African geography had many advantages and disadvantages. Some advantages of African geography was Africa was rich in resources, rivers helped developed Africa, and The Sahara Desert was a natural barrier from invaders and the world. Some disadvantages of African geography was African deserts were hot and dry, Africa was isolated from the world, and Europe wanted African resources. First, one of the advantages of African geography was Africa was rich in resources. This allowed many Africans to trade with other countries. Africans would receive money for their resource, and it would help develop the country. Africans would have enough money to buy animals and other resources. In addition, the Nile and Congo River helped develop towns. The rivers provided fertile land that farmers could grow their crops in.
