Advantages And Disadvantages Of The American Civil War
The american civil war began in 1861, and it ended in the year 1865. It is the deadliest war ever fought on american soil, with 630 000 military casualties and 476 000 wounded. The war was between the South side of America and the North side. The sides were called “The Union” (the North) and “The confederates” (the South). The union had a really big advantage, because they could hire more soldiers,and they were also very industrialised, so they could build more weapons, ammunition, uniforms etc. But the confederates had some of the best soldiers in the country, they also had the best commanders in the whole nation. Which means that they had at least some advantage, and that is why they did not lose immediately.
