Advantages And Disadvantages Of The Us Constitution

Why did the framers of the united states constitution ultimately decided to give more power to the federal government rather than the state governments. There are many problems with the articles of confederation, including the weaknesses and the lack of support it gave us.The topics i will be discussing are, focus on the federal government , the focus on the state government and finally what does the constitution say about the federal and the states.

So again There are many weaknesses and some strengths of the articles of the confederation.The weaknesses of the article of confederation are one there is no national court system. Second the weakness i have chosen is in the anti federalist legislative branch they only have one house to support them.There aren't many advantages for the anti-federalist but one advantage of the article of confederalist is that it helps the farmers .This is an advantage because the farmer provide us with our food sources.
They want the constitution for many of reason .One of the reason is because the federalist wants to have a strong government. They believe the strong government could best protect the individual rights and freedom.The anti-federalist point of view is that they want a strong state government. The want this strong state government because they feared that the central government would eventually overpower the state government.The framers chose the central government for many of reason but one of the reasons why they chose the central government is because they could control the individual states that would not cooperate with the rest.Some people loved the federal government because they have three different branches that can limit each other's power so that way the central government could not become more
