America is a wonderful place to live, because we are free. Freedom is important, and many people in other countries do not have much freedom. I am glad I have a place like this to grow up in; where I know that I can be equal with other races and other genders. Some of our ancestors did not have the privileges we have now because they grew up in other countries, that controlled their religion, who they married, and almost everything else in their lives. Every morning I wake up in a warm bed, usually to the smell of breakfast being made in the kitchen. Once I get up I normally take a shower and then begin to put my makeup on, do my hair, and get dressed. After I get ready and eat breakfast I get in my car and drive to school. After school I grab a quick snack and go to cheer practice until about nine o’clock. When I get home I do my homework and go to bed.
