I have never had a problem of someone treating me different because of my skin color nor I would treat someone differently. However, I have seen people looking at me in a different way but without taking it to the next level. For example, once I went to the interior of Panama to attend the interment of the a person who took care of my father family when my father was young. She was the one who worked at this house. Later, she worked in our house when my brothers and me were young too. She was 99 years old and she was like our second mom. Well, in the interment everyone was non-white except my family. As soon as we entered the church, everyone started looking at us like who are these five white people. However, when the interment was over, we started interacting with them and it went good, in fact we were invited to their house for lunch. I think that this situation will be very unlikely to happen in another country because people from other countries are very reserved, like they just interact with people from their own race. So I think that I do not have a disadvantage or an advantage because of being white.
