Invictus"i am the master of my fate i am the captain of my soul." So in life you face adversity every where but you have to learn to overcome it. first off according to "The man in the arena" Theodore Roosevelt "who strives valiantly; who errs, who does actually strive to do good deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotion;who spend himself worthy of cause; who at the best knows in the end triumph of high achievements , and who at the worst, if he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat." Which means that if you try to do good and face adversity because it is everywhere in life you will overcome it. Theodore roosevelt says that "who at the best knows in the end triumph of high achievements , and who at the worst, if he fails while daring greatly"(Theodore Roosevelt the man in the arena) which means that even if you try hard but fail and you keep trying you are failing with success because you actually tried again secondly in the poem Mother to Son by Langston hughes "life for me ain't been no crystal stair it's had tacks in it,and splinters,and boards torn up,and places with no carpet on the floor,bare.
But all the time ,i'se been climbin' on....." which means that adversity isn't just in your life it's in your parents lives to which means at some point its in everybody's life. Even if there is splinters and tacks in life you should keep trying and face the problems head on. finally in the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley "I am the master of my fate and I am the captain of my soul" which means in life's hard troubles you are the master of your fate so when you face adversity in your home at work or even walking down the street just remember that you are the master of your fate and that you have to choices to keep trying or to fail. you will face adversity
everywhere. so in conclusion you face adversity everywhere you go but it is about how who handle it do you give up or do you keep trying. Who actually strives to do good deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotion;who spend himself worthy of cause; who at the best knows in the end triumph of high achievements , and who at the worst, if he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat." the people that actually try are the one who get right back up and overcome adversity because you are the captain of your soul and the master of your fate. Do you keep trying or do you just give up? Of course not you keep trying because at some point you will overcome adversity.
