a successful career in the field of Aerospace Engineering, granting me an unbound future.
While my current job is paying the bills and we are living comfortably, I start to look into the future. My son will grow up, and he will have more complex and expensive needs like School field trips, sports uniforms, and college Tuition. So I decided to go to school to advance my career in the IT industry. By the time I graduate with my bachelor’s degree, I will have 10 years of IT experience with certifications in specific fields. This goal will allow me to reach my financial goal before reaching the age of 30 and way before my son is ready for college.…
In the [past, many jobs were industrial in nature and didn’t needs necessarily require formal schooling. Education has always played a main factor in my life and to my parents. Being active keeping my grades up and being on extra curricular activities has played a major role in my life. After high school I plan to get a masters and first a bachelors degree. I am majoring in computer science; and plan to practice in becoming a engineer or computer programmer. I have many career goals as. A second major I was interested in was sociology and justice and later going to law school to help out crime within the community.…

Many of my friends that I am graduating high school with are planing on staying close to home and going to near by colleges, this is not the case for me. I want to Broaden my horizons, get away from Vermont for a while and spread my wings. I think that Embry-Riddle University would be the perfect school for me to attend. Embry-Riddle offers a high standard of education that I know will prepare me for my adult working life, and lead me to my personal success. Of all my previous career interests and ideas, there is one that has always reoccurred in my brainstorming: commercial aviation. Embry-Riddle can satisfy my hunger to learn about the field and is the key that can unlock not only my chances of achieving my career goals,…
I can say unequivocally that I have known my lifetime goal from a very early age. I am one of those fortunate people that realized what they wanted to do in life at a very early age and set about making my goal a reality. I want to be a part of America’s Space Program.…
For my project life, I chose Aerospace Engineering as my future career. I have already set my path in that direction by taking Coach Cutshaw’s Pre – Engineering class at South Greene High School. I also plan on taking one of the three engineering courses at the Greene Technology Center. I would then need to get at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering at a four year college or get a degree from a Technical School with an engineering program. In High School I will have to take Physics, Chemistry, Writing/English, and several Math courses such as algebra, calculus, and trigonometry.…
My educational plans as of right now is to either start off at a community college and then transfer to Oregon Institute of Technology to go into Oregon Institute Of Technology right after high school. Going into a community college first would save me a lot of money and it wouldn't be a bad place to start off at. I would like to start off at OIT because it seems like the right school for me and I won't have to deal with transferring later. Regardless of where I choose to go I will be working towards getting my bachelors in dental hygiene. I want to pursue this career because I want to help others feel confident about their smiles and it's something I can see myself being good at. My parents inspire me the most, they've done so much for our…

I have been attending Udall schools since 6th-grade year. Starting high school I have been involved in FBLA, Scholars Bowl, football and heavily involved in FFA. My mother is a para for special needs classrooms around the county and my father is currently working as a project manager at a construction company. After I graduate I plan on attending a two-year college then transferring to a four-year college to get a Bachelor's degree in construction and using that to become a construction manager.…
During my visit to Georgia Tech in the summer of 2014 I learned a lot about the Engineering program and life on campus. The part that caught my attention was the Internship program. After graduating I strive to become an Aerospace Engineer at one of the many aviation companies. During my tenure at Georgia Tech, I intend on pursuing an internship with Bombardier in Toronto. This will allow me to acquire the necessary workplace experience for the field in advance while also working towards my Masters in Engineering. The lifestyle I saw during my visit was very different from what I am used to seeing in my hometown. No matter what your interests are there will always be a group of people there to support your endeavors and support you at…
According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, “Aerospace engineers design, test, and supervise the manufacture of aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles. . . Aerospace engineers develop new technologies for use in aviation, defense systems . . . They may also specialize in a particular type of aerospace product, such as commercial aircraft, military fighter jets, helicopters, spacecraft, or missiles and rockets and, may become experts in aerodynamics, thermodynamics . . .” (US Government). The idea of flying, building fighter jets, helicopters, spacecrafts or missiles has great appeal to me. Given my proficiency in physics and mathematics, I feel equipped to accomplish this goal. I passed both Physics and Mathematics in the General Certificate of Education at the Advanced Level. In addition, I am a member of the America Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) which provides useful career information and I am a member of the honors society Phi Theta Kappa. My cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.15 for my three semesters spent at Montgomery College serves as evidence of my focus and dedication to completing my degree. I am also part of the honors program (Calculus…
There comes a time in a person’s life when they need to start thinking about their future. Of course, kids tend to think about their futures from an early age. We’ve all wanted to be princesses and ninjas, pirates and fairies, superheroes and singers. But there’s a time to start thinking about your future reality-wise. In the modern era, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to obtain a job without an education past that at the high school level. While college is set up as a luxury, it’s evolving into a necessity. College is something I definitely see for myself in the future although not for the same reason. Personally, I would like to be able to learn about what I want to do and learn how to do it to the best of my ability. Going to college…
We all like to visualize where we would like to be, whether the vision is wanting to practise law or to become the biggest movie star. I have dreams of being a successful business owner or becoming a lawyer - whichever makes more sense to me in the future. Attending Queen’s University is the first step to achieving my dream. I hope to attend Queen’s this coming fall for either economics or computer science. Currently I am trying to make my vision of going to Queen’s become a reality by doing my best to keep my grades up in all of my classes and actively be a contributing member of society. After receiving my bachelors degree, depending on whether I choose the business path or law path, I plan on attending university for my master in business (MBA) or do a three year law degree. After finishing my schooling I hope to move to a city like Toronto, Montreal,or New York City as I believe I would have more opportunities to grow as a person and be able to secure better jobs. Another future goal of mine that is not school or career related is to own a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. To make this goal into a reality I need to ensure I follow through on my career goals. As you can see, I plan for many great things in the future. My main goal is to be someone I am proud of; to do it on my own and without anyone else's influence. My future goals are what keep me motivated to…
In order to reach this goal, I have to go to college first which I have to pay for by myself. I don't want anything to get in the way of my dreams so I am saving what I can get so that I can go to college and pursue my career. This is also why I am so focused on school so that I can get help with paying for college and to be be prepared for anything that is thrown at me. Because of my mother's death, she never had the chance to finish school and even though I barely know my father, I know that he has never went to college. Although my family is big, only a few have graduated from college with nothing more than an associate's degree. I am going to be the first in my immediate family to get a bachelor's degree. Besides Akron being my school of choice because of the great career path it offer me, I also plan to get closer to my dad who lives in Akron. I refuse to let my struggles hold me back, instead I am allowing them to move me forward and be the woman I am…
I plan to continue my education; after my Associates degree, I want to transfer to the University of Texas in El Paso and work on my Bachelors degree. Finishing that would be a great accomplishment that would bring lots of joy to my life. I would be the first one in my family to graduate from a university with a degree, but what motivates me the most is that it would be a compensation for my parents. For all they have done for me. When I have my Bachelors degree I hope to find a job teaching. I want to begin teaching elementary school level and then move forward to high school. While working I want to continue to go to college and work on my Master's degree. I understand my goals will be difficult to achieve and that it will bring a lot of obstacles but I hope to run through…
