The disease got its name the Black Plague since the disease causes black patches on your skin by the bleeding underneath. At the time, doctors were not informed with how to treat the disease nor on how to make the cure. Doctors tried lots of ways to stop the plague, but none of them really worked. Some cures that were tried included rubbing onions, herbs, or a chopped-up snake. Some of the symptoms included fever, diarrhea, or nausea just to name a few. Although this was very bad, later it helped boost England's immunity to HIV by 10%. During the "Black Plague" the economy was rising, causing everyone to suddenly pay more due to the disease. For example, since so many people were dying, those who owned businesses lost workers thus having landowners pay more for workers to work for them. Following along, farm animals started to die which caused prices for meats to rise since if the peasants taking care of them died, the animals had no one to nourish them. During the time, people thought that the churches were in control. Thinking it could be punishment or karma for doing something bad. A lot of people started praying even before eating a meal or blessing others to try and live through the tough times. People even went to priests or churches for blessings of good luck since it was such a bad time. Although some people later stopped due to it not working. As things have gotten worse over time, people stopped asking for help from the churches, governments, and even doctors! Just like some workers, churches followed on with the trend of using people for money. Causing churches to be unexpectedly rich for simply asking for a prayer or a question. Which is bad since it would cause people to rebel later. Now with prayers and help not working or doing nothing, caused people to fight against churches. Now, people began to question and forget religions thinking they were useless and or lying. Which meant they thought they would have to do something worthy to get God to stop the plague or undo it. After the thought was going through everyone, soon started the removal thought. Also known as the time where christens and normal people thought they had to get rid of Jews.
