The club met up once a week during lunch to eat lunch and discuss the scriptures. The majority of the students in the club were African American. Our club would still consist of students from other cultures. During this time we were able to form bonds within the school because of our cultural background. This club brought people together who normally wouldn't talk to each other together. It gave a sense of pride because of many African Americans are known to have a close kinship
