Only a standardized test could tell where a school achievement rate is at and where they are in terms of other schools. Schools need to be held accountable for their academic performance. The test can identify the poor-performing schools needing help or simply the high performing schools across the state. The test can be used a key factor in changes in a schools education system. For example, North High school students are all below benchmark level in math according to the SAT they all took in the spring.
