In the wake of numerous cheating scandals, such as those at the University of Virginia and Harvard, many people have began to question the effectiveness of honor codes (sources C, D). Honor codes can be defined as a set of rules implemented in a school that are based around morals that define both acceptable and unacceptable behaviors. Collegiate football is a rapidly growing business that influences culture, participants and spectators. The role of National College Athletic Association (NCAA) is to ensure that all teams follow the instructions of the game and hold high standards of established moral and ethical code of conduct and ethics.
