New media is a mass communication using technologies like the Internet, which is interactive (Festoon Media, 2010). Agoda company Pte Ltd is using various new media such as Homepage, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Mobile Apps (Android, IOS, Windows), Pinterest, Linkedin, CrunchBase and Dibbble. This paper would also discuss on Facebook and mobile apps that Agoda uses to promote their services.

New Media A- Facebook
Agoda is using Facebook to advertise its services (Appendix 5). Facebook is a kind of social networking that allows people to receive information and ideas all over the world (National Association of Countries, 2015). Facebook has social-media features such as home page, groups, events, posting photos and videos that can connect with old and new friends and share the same interest in a platform. Companies can create institutional profiles via the“Facebook Pages” feature (ibid). A Facebook page allows anyone to like the page and can view and share the latest updates such as links, videos, notes and comments.

Agoda usually expresses things in their own words, not in the company's jargon or 'official line' to create a friendly environment (Appendix 6). Agoda also updates at least once a week on Facebook to stay and keep connecting with the followers (Appendix 7). Unlike traditional media, social media have to update their page frequently (ibid). Besides that, they usually response to the subscribers within a few hours through Facebook inbox (Appendix 8). Failing to respond quickly, will make followers gradually drift away
