Alan Greenspan was born in New York City on March 6, 1926. He studied music at Juilliard After that he was on a career about financial consulting Alan Greenspan worked as a chairman of the Federal Reserve Board in the US since 1987 to 2006. He attended George Washington High School However, after graduating from Washington High School, he studied at Juilliard for a brief period of time before he moved to New York University.
In NYU he started studying economics, also he have got the undergraduate and graduate degrees in the subject. He completed his doctoral degree in 1977.
As a student in NYU, he was working on Wall Street throughout much of his time.
