After receiving the sponsorship notice from my chain of command, I would contact the Soldier by phone (if possible) to establish contact and verify that I had a good way to reach her. I would inquire about her status- whether or not her PCS was going smoothly; if she is married or if she has any children; and if she knows about the local area. After asking for a good mailing address, I would go to the local ACS office and request a New Arrivals kit with plenty of information about the installation and surrounding community. I’d enclose a welcome letter from the CSM as well. I would communicate consistently with the Soldier until her arrival.…

Friends, my brother Alephs, I am Daniel Chapman. I am running for the high and honorable position of Aleph Godol. Why you may ask? When I had first joined this organization, it would’ve been for the power, knowing that you are the president of the best chapter in all of RMR. But no, that’s not it anymore. This past term has definitely not been our best, we have all had problems to face, struggles bigger than I could’ve imagined when I had first joined, and no one to tell you exactly what needed to be done. But we pulled through. Not just one of us took charge, but we all did, and together as a chapter, as brothers, we didn’t fold. Even with all of the setbacks we had, we are still here today. But regardless of how great of a chapter we are and have the potential to be, there are things that need much work and toil, but will come easy with a working board.…

1a) What is your evaluation of the appraisal process (SPR) at Southland Packaging? My initial evaluation of the this process is positive, if both the supervisor and the employee adhered to the guidelines that were to be utilized during the process. The SPR was to last two full hours (not certain it should require this much time) and provide an undisturbed opportunity for the manager and to communicate directly with the subordinate about their level of performance. In turn, it offered the employees a venue to voice career goals and workplace concerns to superiors. This process is much like any Fortune 500 company process, we use nearly identical criteria at Xerox. The online tool is beneficial to the supervisor because it allowed them create a space where they could readily view the noteworthy information they had accumulated throughout the year on proposals, customer survey information, voicemails and email exchanges on both positive and negative feedback. The key to this type of data is… who has accessibility to it? Only the supervisor? Can the employee add information? Is it collaborative? That wasn’t discussed. I believe it should be kept as private information, but the data would only be as beneficial as the original note keeper made it.…

The above items were supposed to be free and I thought it was rather odd that your company asked for my company’s MasterCard credit number. It was my understanding that we were only billed if the samples were kept. When the items arrived, I was not pleased and I returned the items on February 11, 2009 (I have a postal receipt for proof). When I received my March credit statement, I was surprised to learn that we were charged $229.13 for the returned sample items.…
