Alice Monologue
I saw my sister, Frances, still on her book, reading. I rushed over to her, excited to tell her my adventurous journey. She had to be more interested in my story than her boring old book. “Hey!” I yelled, “you need to hear my awesome story!” Frances looked up from her book and stared at me. I was already telling her about the little bunny. “He ran past me! Checking his watch and then running on further. He ran all the way into a bunny hole, and sense I have never seen a bunny in the wild, I chased after it.” “You chased a bunny into a bunny hole, and fit?” Frances asked me, confusedly. “Yes. “Alice,” she whispered seriously. “This is the rarest gem in all the country. I learned about it in science class.”
“Are you sure about this?” I asked to clarify things.
“Oh, Yes. I am definitely sure.” She took the gem from me and studied. “It even has the gold inside of it. I can see through the red crystal, and there is definitely gold inside of this. Alice,” She said. “This treasure is worth more than I can even count!!”
“Wow.” I was totally flabbergasted. “But after took the gem, I had to find a way out. I ran over to where I got in and started climbing the 3 miles back up to tell you what I found.”
