Conformity played a huge major rule during the 1950. Many in the 1950s thrived for the comfort that they pictured as shown by the media where everyone lived happily. But despite what American believed, there was still racism, poverty, stereotypical about women and people that were less fortunate due to poverty. Conformity was everywhere in America.
