About eight months ago, we were approached by a representative from FloorCo Inc. regarding a rather remarkable new product that they had created. The representative told us that FloorCo had created a new process whereby they could fabricate a commercial hardwood flooring that retained a durable glossy shine "virtually forever." They called this new flooring "Evershine." As you know, all of our barbecue restaurants have hardwood floors. The hardwood floors provide us with a "country" atmosphere that our customers expect when they walk into a Pig-Out restaurant. We have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars over the last eight years just maintaining the floors in our restaurants nationwide. We thought that this might be a wonderful opportunity to enhance the appearance of our restaurants while at the same time cut down on our huge maintenance costs. We agreed to discuss it at a board meeting and contact FloorCo at a later date.…

In the first experiment that we did, we got three different brands of red nail polish, all displayed at different prices. We hypothesized that if the nail polish brand is more expensive, it will be harder to take off. We came to this conclusion because we figured that if the brand is more expensive, the quality of the nail polish would be better. Considering this, the better quality nail polish would stay on the nails longer and would be less prone to chipping therefore harder to remove. For our second experiment we hypothesized that if we…

Salt and chalk were rubbed across teeth. The Chinese chewed on twigs to freshen their breath. Nevertheless, chemicals like fluoride, xylitol, calcium carbonate, and chlorhexidine are proven to work stronger in the act of protecting teeth. This experiment will look at whether the eggshells (which acts as teeth) are more damaged by the natural solutions or chemical solutions, and which one of the solutions will protect the “teeth” more. When comparing natural and chemical, the chemical solutions will work better than the natural remedies, as the chemicals are more focused on protecting the teeth (in this case egg shells) from sugar (in this case cranberry juice).…
