Have you ever wondered how many cubs a lion can have at a time? A female lion is allowed to have two to three baby lions at at time. A female lion protects its babies with all its might, it protects it alot also from any other lion or maybe even its own father! Lions may be located in different places, although mostly they come from the Plains of Africa, they keep coming and also from the passages from South Africa to the Sahara desert. The lion’s claws are used to be stabbed into the Prey’s flesh, afterwards, the lion bites a painful bite onto either the throat, or the back of the neck. The female lion guards her cub very carefully, she doesn’t even let the male lion to approach, because he is capable of killing his own child. The male lions eat first after the kill is done, then come the female lions, and then the cubs get what is leftover. Both males and female lions protect and defend any other lions that are not part of the pride, who is wanting to join their pride. Mature male lions are unique among big cats due to the thick brown or black manes that encircle their necks and protect them while fighting. These landscapes, such as the perferrings allow the hunters to creep stealthily through vegetation and leap upon their unsuspecting prey. Even though cubs, which would be the name for a lion child are all open-eyed, and allowed to use their claws, they are not quite much help. Lions may run up to 50 miles per hour, which would be 81 kilometers per hour, for short distances. Usually each pride will have no more that 2 adult male lions. Humans, aren’t exactly usually lion prey. It’s pretty common that when a new male lion becomes part of a pride, it may kill all of the cubs. The male weight can go up to 330-500 lbs, which would be 150-227 kg. Both male and female lions roar, and that roar can be heard over five miles away! Lions within a pride are often affectionate and, when resting, they enjoy things that deal with lots of touching rubbing against their heads, and they also enjoy licking and purring. Male lions will roar, once they have scented what they have been wanting to look for, or smelling for. Lions may be in a lot of different colors the are mostly in like a yellow-brownish coat, the lion has some different characteristics upon from any other animal from the cat
