Pamela indicated that she felt a lack of assistance from SC so SC began to describe the role/responsibility of PCA vs. informal support. Despite SC attempting to diffuse Pamela’s strong feelings, Pamela continued to raise her voice and express great frustration. During this part of the conversation Pamela stated that her mother needs more personal care hours and SC asked if pa had any change in functioning. Pamela reported no changes, therefore SC emphasized the previous plan of including an agency aide or a second friend/family member to act as the DCW on evenings/weekends by utilizing a portion of the hours already in the ISP in order to facilitate respite for Pamela in order to prevent her from becoming further overwhelmed or burnt out. There are about one hundred abandoned buildings on Alameda Pointbecause nobody uses the buildings so they end up collecting rodents and insects, especially termites. Alameda is crowded the way it is and we need the additional space for more guises news buildings, stores, hospitals, and residency. More schools are needed in Alameda because the public schools are overflowing with students, and if there are more schools with less students there will be more one on one help, and the teachers can be more aware of the students social situations. In the case presented for discussion described above, it was imminent that Dr. Yarnell had a justifiable medical history that supported his symptoms. Nonetheless, it can be argued the way PA Brian decided to evaluate and treat Dr. Yarnell was biased or based on personal interests. PA Brian’s medical judgment was compromised. Mutual personal motivations existed between Dr. Yarnell and PA Brian. However, as a clinician PA Brian should have impartially evaluated Dr. Yarnell by properly and examining and documenting his findings or properly redirecting Dr.Yarnell to a different clinician. If the patient (Dr. Yarnell) was never appropriately examined, how can PA Brian as a health care provider substantiate that the medication prescribed was adequate and beneficial for the…
