INTRODUCTION
Project Context
As major technologies for recording and processing information have been invented, new capabilities have appeared just like the fast development of system software. System software are mostly used this days which abandoned the manual way of processing data specially on office, through the use of computer and other technologies. It causes revolutionary change in many fields, schools and especially offices abandoned the traditional manual system of processing documents and replacing them with the computerized system that can be accessed and manipulate easily, effectively and faster.
As this technology age, information is needed in every field of human’s life which supports the computerization of information where it is knowledge communication in a timely, accurate, understandable, fashion and extracted or distilled from data and system is a set of independent entities, real or abstract forming an integrated whole. In this era, where advancement has become the part of the each and every field of life and time become the one of the important of the success we want to do things and everyday jobs faster ever. Dealing with large amount of data in a manual way will make things complicated that will result in data lost. The role of information system can’t be ignored doing things faster, doing things better and doing things smarter, all those traits are possible just because of two words, Information System.
Nowadays Immaculate Conception School (ICS) is a growing academic institution which in need of information system that will manage and maintain data of their graduates especially in organizing their alumni organization. Those students who left the school after graduating are called alumni’s of the school. Maintaining and managing the records of this fast growing number of student graduates is an important task which will be done easier with the existence of an Alumni Information System.
