Cognitive changed with aging have allot to do with changes in verbal ability, loss of verbal memory, decreased numeric ability, declines in perceptual speed, diminished spatial orientation, and slower inductive reasoning which can limit them on making decision making. Hearing loss also can isolate the older adults and prevent them from engaging(being involved) in conversations as well as other social interactions. One major complain that older adults say is that they have an increase memory lapses as they get older. Alzheimer's disease which is a memory loss that they suffer from. They can even forget recently learned information. There are some factors that effect cognitive aging such as:
• Changes in mood like depression and anxiety

    From the time we are infants our brains are adapting and learning. We become smarter and sharper at learning new skills. The brain function changes normally as people pass from childhood through growing old. Through most adulthood the brain function is relatively stable.
